Nvidia/AMD drivers
Always update to the latest nvidea driver! However there are some specific drivers made for PUBG.For newer GPUs (especially 1080ti/2080) recommended drivers might reduce stuttering. To uninstall previous display drivers i recommend using DDU
- Nvidia driver 388.71 --> 2017 December
- Nvidia driver 391.01 --> 2018 Februar
- AMD driver 18.2.2 --> 2018 Februar
!!!WARNING!!!
There are reports that the newly added Anti-Cheat causes FPS drop, so upon starting PUBG a Game launcher should come up, there make sure to Un-Check the "Enable Anti-Cheat" and hit PLAY.ADDITIONAL
- Close unused background programs
- Use CCleaner to clean system and registry
- Update all device drivers (e.g. with Driver Booster 6)
- Disable Hardware optimization where it's possible (Chrome, Discord, Steam ...etc)
- You may try to disable paging, if you have 16GB or more RAM
- Don't play on Wi-Fi, play over cable
- Run game on SSD
I get up-to 200+ FPS, but stable 144 FPS if locked via RivaTuner
