Stoneshard Beginners Basics Guide

Stoneshard Beginners Basics Guide
So you've just cleared the prologue dungeon and you're ready for adventure uh? Here's a bunch of things you should know:
  1. You can only save the game in Inns and camps with an interactable bed, so plan your exploration trips accordingly
  2. Sometimes there are multiple ways to interact with objects, don't forget to right click to see the options!
  3. Replenish food and water whenever you can, to refill your water supply right click on on any source of water and you'll get both a drink and a refill option.
  4. Remember that you can heal by resting, right click on yourself and select rest!
  5. Keep a look at your HP bar, if you can't heal all your HP back because the bar looks capped before the max level you have one or more body parts that need to be treated with balms, leeches or other healing items
  6. LOOK AT YOUR MAP! You should have a map in the inventory, I missed it my first time around and spent more time I'm comfortable admitting roaming around getting ganked by bears and wolves. The map doesn't tell you where you are, use roads and other unique places to figure out where you are if you get lost.If for any reason you drop or sell the map you can buy another one from the elder. You can now access the map by pressing M.
  7. Always travel diagonally in the overworld when you can. The map is divided in squares, so by traveling diagonally you travel x1.7 times faster than going in a straight line (it's math!) by going at the corner of a screen you can easily travel to the next diagonal screen by going left/right one screen then immediately up/down the other screen. Traveling following the screen borders is also safer.
  8. Where's the damn elder? He's on the first floor of the barrack, the biggest building in the village, the ones with guards on the ground floor. Talk with him and take both jobs, you can switch the active quest in the quest menu.
  9. Stay away from bears at the beginning (level 1-2), they're OP.
  10. Don't forget to visit the herbalist in the village and buy splints, bandages and balms, you'll need them!

Summer Pockets 100% Story Guide

Summer Pockets 100% Story Guide
Summer Pockets doesn’t really need a story guide because just getting the route endings is an utter cakewalk. I’m just making this for completion’s sake and to show off some less obvious tricks. The guide will only list required events and choices as well as whatever unlocks might be available.

Route Order
You can do any order you want really. If I had to say something, I’d recommend doing Shiroha earlier rather than later and to do Tsumugi before Ao. Whichever order you do, you should always start from the beginning after finishing a route. You’ll want to pick a new option for the first choice each time and then make a save at the choice on Jul 27 when Hairi’s trying to impress the young girls.

There’s two hidden scenes for Nomiki available after you clear a route. On the night of 8/2, pick ‘I love you’ then go to the Candy Store on 8/6 AM.

Shiroha Route

  • 7/29 AM Island Outskirts
  • 7/30 AM Island Outskirts
  • 7/30 PM Candy Store*
  • 7/31 AM Pond
  • 7/31 PM Candy Store*
  • 8/1 PM Candy Store*
  • 8/2 PM Island Outskirts
  • 8/3 AM Secret Base
  • 8/4 PM Island Outskirts
*You’re only required to do one of the three Candy Store events to get into the route. Doing all three is just to see

You can get two different scenes on Aug 9 depending on your choices on Aug 7, one with a CG and one without. Get the ingredients from Umi, Kyouko, and the Port for the CG version. Get the ingredients from the Road, the Port, and the Mountain for the other version.

Tsumugi Route

  • 7/29 PM Lighthouse
  • 7/30 PM Lighthouse
  • 7/31 PM Lighthouse
  • 8/1 PM Lighthouse
  • 8/4 PM Lighthouse
  • 8/5 PM Lighthouse: Pick ‘Look for what she wants to do together’
*The last event can be done on either 8/5 or 8/6, but you don't get a second chance at the choice.

Ao Route

  • 7/31 PM Country Road: Pick ‘Observe her’ then ‘Ask about her family’ when it pops up.
  • 8/2 PM Candy Store
  • 8/3 PM Candy Store
  • 8/6 PM Candy Store
  • 8/6 Night: Pick ‘Go take a look’

Kamome Route

The search events on 7/31 and 8/3 won’t fail if you pick the wrong answer. The 8/6 event, however, will give you a Bad End if you make the wrong choice. If you say that Kyouko looks like she’s 17 years old during the prologue, you will get a third option during the 8/4 event.
  • 7/29 AM Town Hall Road
  • 7/30 AM Town Hall Road: Pick ‘I’ll help’
  • 7/31 AM Town Hall Road: ‘Shrine’ is the correct answer
  • 8/3 AM Town Hall Road: ‘Chimney’ is the correct answer
  • 8/4 AM Town Hall Road
  • 8/6 AM Town Hall Road: Pick ‘The most dilapidated bird house’
You’ll unlock a CG on Aug 8th by picking ‘Have her help me change clothes’, but you won’t get all variations in one playthrough. After you clear 3 routes, you’ll unlock what I call [Onii-chan Mode]. You’ll get a different variation of Kamome’s CG depending on whether you’re in that mode or not. You can do them in any order, and you can always go back and do it after finishing the game.

True Routes

Once you’ve cleared the 4 heroine routes, you can go onto doing the 2 true routes. There are no required choices in either of them. When you’ve cleared the true routes, you will unlock a screenshot generator under Extra on the main menu.

Summer Pockets 100% Record Guide

Summer Pockets 100% Record Guide
I don’t recommend jumping straight into achievement hunting right after starting the game. However, there are some minor things you can do at the beginning to make things smoother down the line.

I recommend always making a save at the shrine choice on 7/27. One for each starting title, so 4 in total. Luckily the number of titles match the number of heroines, so you simply pick a different one each time you start over after a route. The game gives you 1000 save slots: use them liberally.

The game has a mechanic called Restart that takes effect after you clear 2 routes. It’ll be pretty obvious what it means when you get there. Restart doesn’t affect very many things in the game: It affects which bait you get through defeating Umi in a non-tutorial Islamon battle, and it affects a CG in Kamome’s route. If you follow my first advice about saving on the 27th every time, you’ll have the means of dealing with Restart effectively.

RimWorld Laws of War Guide

RimWorld Laws of War Guide

Legal and Illegal Weaponry

The general protocol for weapons is "Do not cause unnecessary suffering". Weapons that cripple someone without killing are almost always a war crime, and weapons that slowly kill and painfully kill an enemy combatant are generally going to find their way onto the same list.

1) Chemical weapons are a war crime. These refer to gases that are poisonous or cause choking, as well as other weapons that use gases to kill. Mustard gas is an example. Crowd control gases such as tear gas are permitted, but only for domestic riot control.
In addition to being illegal to use, chemical weapons are also illegal to research, build, store, give, or sell to others.

2) Biological weapons are a war crime. This refers to microorganisms being used as a weapon of war, such as giving people blankets infected with smallpox or flinging plague victims into a city. They do not have to target humans, and weapons targeting animals or plants still qualify as biological weapons.
Like chemical weapons, they also cannot legally be researched, built, stored, given, or sold to others.

3) A weapon with non-metal fragments is a war crime. This means things such as plastic bullets or grenades which fire non-metal shrapnel. This is because there is no way to find the fragments easily, which causes unreasonable suffering to soldiers they are used against.

4) Anti-personnel land mines are a war crime... unless you're the United States, Russia, China, India, or one of 28 other UN member states. This was prohibited by the Ottawa Treaty, and Wikipedia has a nice little map on which countries did or did not sign this. That being said, those which did not sign often have other restrictions on what does or doesn't go.
An anti-personnel land mine is one which is designed to kill people rather than vehicles.

5) Incendiary weapons are a war crime... if there might be civilians in the area. An incendiary weapon is a thing which is primarily designed to start fires. An example of this is a flamethrower or white phosphorous.
If the weapon is napalm, it comes with the additional restriction of only being okay if the enemy is using plant cover to stay hidden.

6) Cluster munitions are a war crime. If it releases a large number of fragments for injuring people in a wide area, it's illegal. This is because they are rather good at killing innocent civilians and filling an area with unexploded ordnance, or UXOs.

7) Laser weapons are illegal... if they are used to blind people. This refers to laser weapons which are solely used to blind a combatant rather than kill them. If the laser weapon is mainly meant for murder but also sometimes causes blindness to its target in its attempts to kill them, it is perfectly legal.

Prisoners of War

A Prisoner of War is a captured lawful combatant. Lawful combatants are members of one of the two warring armed forces, and excludes medics and chaplains. They are legally allowed to fight in a war, and are entitled to become a POW if they surrender. A full list of what is or is not a lawful combatant is on this wikipedia page.

The following treatment of POWs is required:

1) The POWs must be treated in a humane fashion. They must be respected as human beings.

2) They must be given the opportunity to inform their families and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) of their capture.

3) They must be allowed to communicate with their relatives and within reason receive packages from them.

4) They must be given a sufficient amount of food, water, housing, and medical care. Your 1x2 rooms and raw meat aren't going to cut it, here.

5) They must be paid for any work that they do, and that work cannot be degrading or dangerous. They cannot be forced to work on anything related to the war.

6) They must be released shortly after the conflict ends.

7) They do not need to give any information outside of their name, age, and rank, and should not be compelled to do so.

Of course, these only apply to a legal combatant. While an illegal combatant is still to be given them until given a fair trial, afterwards they are subject to the enemy nation's full justice system.

Other Parts of the Laws of War

1) Harm caused to civilians has to be proportional to the military gain of the operation or tactics harming them. Bombing a city to cripple industrial capabilities and destroy military bases within is acceptable, bombing a city as a fun afternoon activity or to get that blood lust mood bonus isn't.

2) In order to be a lawful combatant, soldiers must follow certain criteria. This includes having a uniform, being recognizable at a distance as being a combatant, and not committing war crimes.

3) Combatants need a commanding officer, unless the conflict was so sudden that one could not be chosen beforehand. This officer can be held accountable for any war crimes committed under their command.

4) It is illegal to attack doctors, hospital ships, or ambulances bearing several protected symbols.
These include:
  • The Red Cross
  • The Red Crescent
  • The Red Crystal (either with or without a Star of David in the center)
It is required to be neutral while wearing or displaying any of these, and committing acts of war while doing so is itself a war crime and allows the wearer/displayer to be freely shot at.

5) It is illegal to shoot at people or vehicles flying a white flag, as it shows a desire to surrender or communicate with the enemy. As with the protected symbols, the wearer is required to act neutrally while wearing or displaying a white flag.

6) If a person is protected from the laws of war (such as a doctor or civilian), using them as a human shield or camouflage is a war crime.
